AI Contract Overview
This contract involves the procurement of four units of an item identified as ADAPTER, TEST, with the National Stock Number 4920-01-570-9016. The contract is issued by the Department of Defense through the ASC Supplier OEM Division, with delivery scheduled to occur within 171 days from the order date to DLA Distribution San Diego. Packaging and marking must comply with stringent Department of Defense and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) requirements, including adherence to ASTM D3951 for packing, MIL-STD-129 for labeling, and specific DLA packaging protocols outlined in RP001. The contract incorporates detailed quality and technical requirements from the DLA Master List, emphasizing strict quality control measures such as tailored higher-level contract quality requirements, zero non-conformance acceptance criteria based on MIL-STD-1916 sampling, and clear guidelines for physical identification of critical application items. Inspection and acceptance of the items will be performed at the destination point, with no allowance for quantity variance. The contract also mandates removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies and requires proper documentation for any source approval requests. Shipping and palletization must align with specified DLA procurement standards to ensure compliance with military logistics requirements. The assigned point of contact is Hien-Van Trinh, and potential suppliers must respond by the indicated solicitation deadline. This acquisition is governed by the revision of technical and quality standards effective as of the solicitation or award date, ensuring all deliverables meet the Department of Defense’s rigorous specifications for performance and reliability.
