The item is classified as a Type I shelf-life product with a non-extendable 12-month shelf life and must comply with all referenced technical and quality requirements from the DLA Master List. The battery is subject to stringent packaging and marking standards per MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, with special labeling indicating Type I shelf life. Delivery is due 60 days after award, with firm fixed pricing and zero variance allowed in quantity. Inspection and acceptance occur at the destination, with FOB terms also at destination. The sole unit ordered is one each, and shipping must be via the fastest traceable means, excluding parcel post. The designated delivery point is the USS Patrick Gallagher at Bath Iron Works in West Bath, Maine, with shipment identification RDD 777 and internal government tracking codes. The contract requires compliance with MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 zero-based sampling plans, where critical, major, and minor attributes must be verified at levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively. HAZMAT communication standards and hazardous material transport exceptions under ADR/RID, IMDG, and IATA regulations apply, with special provision exemptions valid within prescribed quantity limits. All packaging must include die-cut holes for handling when individual units exceed 75 pounds, and proper palletization and marking are mandatory.
