AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE8ES-27-T-0201 is a request for quotations from the DLA Troop Support Construction and Equipment office for the procurement of two kits of adhesive, identified by NSN 8040-00-858-9798. Each kit consists of one pint of resin and two ounces of hardener packaged in separate containers. The items are classified as hazardous materials and must be stored at temperatures below 80.6 degrees. They are subject to a non-extendable shelf life of 12 months, requiring special marking code 32 for Type I items. Delivery is required within five days of award, with a final required delivery date of October 29, 2026, shipped via the fastest traceable means to Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. The contract mandates strict adherence to packaging and marking standards, including MIL-STD-129, MIL-STD-147F, and MIL-STD-2073-1E. Specific kit packaging options are provided, ranging from E6 boxes to heat-shrink or adhesive bonding for cans, and all kits must include an itemized list of contents. Because the materials are hazardous, suppliers must provide Safety Data Sheets and labels compliant with 29 CFR 1910.1200 and Federal Standard 313-E. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and compliance with DFARS regulations regarding cybersecurity, the Buy American Act, and the safeguarding of covered defense information. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination.
