Adult Day Health Care (ENV-2023-7181-CE)

The project ENV-2023-7181-CE, managed by the City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning, involves the conversion of approximately 15,329 square feet of ground floor parking in an existing three-story commercial building at 620 S. Union Street into an adult day care facility. This facility is designed to provide non-medical, daytime activities for adults. As part of the project, two illuminated signs will be installed, each with a maximum area of 75 square feet, located on the facades fronting Union Avenue and Shatto Street. The project is classified as exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act CEQA Guidelines Section 15311 Class 11 and Section 15332 Class 32 for infill development, as it is determined that the project will not have significant environmental impacts. Compliance is required with the Los Angeles Municipal Code and the Central City West Specific Plan, as well as various Regulatory Compliance Measures regarding air quality, noise, hazardous materials, geology, water quality, and transportation.
