Full Description

The Advanced Range Tracking and Imaging System (ARTIS) is a multi-service Central Test and Evaluation Investment Program (CTEIP) funded project lead by the US Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) to provide a cost-effective and technologically superior replacement for the aging fleet of optical tracking instrumentation systems at DOD Test Ranges. It will significantly reduce operations and maintenance (O&M) costs, improve Time Space Position Information (TSPI) accuracy and the reliability of optical data collection, and provide support for test programs and scenarios that cannot be adequately addressed with existing systems. The Government is awarding a single-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for the design, development, integration, test, manufacture and delivery of ARTIS. The ordering period of ARTIS will be five years after the date of contract award, with an option for another five years (CLINs 1005-1010,1099), for a total performance/delivery period of up to 10 years. In accordance with FAR 16.504, this ID/IQ contract includes quantity limits stated as a number of units. Because ARTIS is a system-of-systems (SoS) and the requirements of each test location will vary, the total maximum quantity will consist of any quantity mix of 86 Optical Tracking Systems associated with CLINs 0002-0008 and 1005-1008 (Option CLINs). In addition, the maximum quantity for the Master Remote Control Units (MRCUs) is 19, CLINs 0009/1009, and the maximum quantity for the Remote Control Units (RCUs) is nine, 0010/1010. The quantity limits provided above are for the entire ordering period of the contract.
