AE RFQ - West Campus Vivarium - College Station, Texas

The Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning and Construction is soliciting statements of qualifications under RFQ-02-3457 to select an Architect/Engineer firm for the West Campus Vivarium project in College Station, Texas. Located off Agronomy Road, the project involves the new construction of a facility approximately 68,890 gross square feet, featuring animal holding rooms of various capacities, procedure rooms, and extensive cage wash areas. Additionally, the scope includes the decommissioning, hazardous materials abatement, and demolition of the existing Laboratory Animal Care Building. The new facility must be designed to meet strict accreditation and federal standards, including those set by the USDA, NIH (PHS), and AAALAC. The total planning amount for the project is 135,000,000 dollars, with 98,477,732 dollars specifically designated as the Amount Available for Construction Contract.
