Solicitation W912D0-16-T-0018 is a request for quote for the procurement and installation of AEON Gold Rectifier Retrofit Kits for DC Power systems at Fort Wainwright and Fort Greely, Alaska. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 335999 and is intended to be awarded as a sole source firm-fixed price contract. The requirement is justified because the equipment is proprietary to Eltek Valere and is critical to preventing the failure of telephone switches and resolving work stoppages on a Corps of Engineers contract. The scope of work includes providing specific hardware, such as AEON Gold retrofit kits, SmartPack controllers, and Flatpack2 HE rectifiers, along with professional installation at both Alaska locations. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with manufacturer standards and must comply with NFPA, UL, MIL-HDBK-419A, OSHA, and ANSI electrical safety codes. All retrofit kits must be installed within 30 days of the award date.
