NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Maintenance Service Section (PZIMB) of the Specialized Maintenance Contracting Branch at Hill AFB, Utah, intends to negotiate with BAE Systems Operations LTD, on a sole source basis, for repair and maintenance services of the Intermittent Fault Detection and Isolation Systems (IFDIS). The services provide will support the 523rd Electronics Maintenance Squadron (EMXS). Negotiations will the sole source will be conducted under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Sources Sought FA8224-17-R-0072 was posted to FBO.gov on 19 JUN 2017. Description of Services: The contractor shall provide technical telephone/email support, logistics, preventive maintenance, on-site maintenance, and calibration to include Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) assistance, and software support for one (1) 1A4690-01 Low Voltage Power Supply Unit test set, two (2) Aeroflex 5800 Series Test Systems, including their associated Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) and 5820 ATE Subsystems. Additionally, the contractor shall complete scheduled calibrations for two (2) 5820 ATE Subsystems (located within the Aeroflex). These services will be performed in support of the 523rd Electronic Maintenance Squadron at Hill Air Force Base. The solicitation will be posed under the same notice as this synopsis.
