AAC/PKO, Eglin AFB, FL Operational Contracting Division, is seeking to identify SBA certified 8(a) program participant sources that are capable of providing all labor services to provide dispatching, servicing, inspecting, cleaning, corrosion control, modification and maintenance of powered/non-powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and munitions material handling equipment/trailers in support of the 46th Test Wing. In addition, sources will need to provide AGE familiarization training, manage all flight-line waste fluids programs, and perform corrosion work on equipment other than AGE as determined by the Government. The Government has determined this to be a FAR Part 12 acquisition for commercial items procurement. Interested sources are invited to submit, with their statement of current capability, any disagreements with this determination. The Government anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract with Time and Material line items for travel with a Base year period of performance of 1 October 2012 to 30 September 2013 and four (4) one-year option periods. A 30 day phase-in period may be included for a period of performance of 1 September 2011 to 30 September 2011. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 488190, with a small business standard size of $7M. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS NOT A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), OR AN INVITATION FOR BID PURSUANT TO FAR PART 5, BUT A MARKET SURVEY TO IDENTIFY SOURCES. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in this survey. Interested sources are invited to submit statement of current capability to provide AGE services to include company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone, and facsimile numbers and type and business size indicating whether you are a small or large business for the purposes of the assigned NAICS. All interested parties must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for an award of Government contracts. Limit your response to this market survey to a maximum of ten (10) pages to be received NLT 4:00 PM., Central Standard Time on 16 February 2012. Submission can be e-mailed to karen.matuskey@eglin.af.mil and Fausto.fernandez@eglin.af.mil.
