This is a sole source acquisition to NLS Specialties Inc (NLS), CAGE: 00TX4.

Recruiting Badges are required uniform items for all Air Force Reserve recruiters and their assigned uniformed support staff. For over 20 years, Air Force Reserve Recruiting has maintained a legacy of presenting a unique badge and rocker to be worn with the dress blue uniform. Traditionally, badges and rockers were awarded jointly, reflecting the recruiter’s classification and accomplishments for each fiscal year. To strengthen alignment with the Total Force, the Air Force Reserve Recruiting badge is being updated to adopt the design and structural features of the active component's Air Force Recruiting badge. The new badge retains the Air Force Reserve logo, ensuring Reserve recruiters remain distinctly identifiable while promoting a consistent, professional appearance across all Air Force recruiting personnel. The updated badge also introduces a new recognition system using Stars on the badge denote individual recruiter achievements. Silver and gold wreaths indicate skill levels and higher accomplishments, providing clear, visible acknowledgment of performance and expertise. This modernized design balances

historical legacy, organizational identity, and Total Force integration, while enhancing the recognition of recruiter contributions and excellence.
