AFTC Technical Research Library (TRL) Internet Service Provider

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). All responsible sources may submit a firm-fixed price (FFP) quote which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-54 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20111207. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement (ii) price. NAICS is 517110 with a business size standard of 1500 employees. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing the following BRAND NAME OR EQUAL requirement for internet service to the Technical Research Library at Edwards AFB, California. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items necessary to provide a minimum of 10 Mbps symmetrical (10 Mbps upstream x 10 Mbps downstream) internet service to the Test Engineering Home Office Facility (Building 1400) Communications Equipment Room (room 324) located at Edwards AFB, California. The Air Force will complete connectivity to the required work locations in Building 1400. The contractor shall perform to the standards called for in the attached Statement of Work as well as all local, state, federal and DoD regulations. The period of performance for this procurement is a base period of twelve (12) months and two additional twelve (12) month option periods. All delivery and pick-up charges must be included in the quote for FOB Destination. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing a complete quote including delivery FOB Destination Edwards AFB CA 93524. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
