AG Sports Complex Pickleball Lights

The City of Los Banos is soliciting bids for Phase 2 sports court lighting improvements at the AG Sports Complex pickleball courts located at 700 Mercey Springs Road, Los Banos, California. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and permits for the installation of wiring and cables in existing conduits, the extension of home run wiring in new conduits, and the installation of electrical panels, pedestals, transformers, and time clock controls. The project also requires the construction of a concrete pad and anchorage for electrical equipment and the full installation and testing of pole lights and fixtures. Existing infrastructure from Phase 1, including footings, pull boxes, and warning lights, will remain in place. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. on October 8, 2026, and a mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 24, 2026. Eligible bidders must hold a Class A or C-10 California State Contractor's License and be registered with the State Department of Industrial Relations. Required submission documents include a bid form with a total bid amount, a bid bond, a non-collusion affidavit, debarment and suspension certification, and evidence of three recently completed similar projects. The successful contractor must provide payment and performance bonds, adhere to prevailing wage requirements, and comply with NPDES and MS4 permits. Work is permitted Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Payment is structured at 95% of the monthly earned amount based on the Engineer's estimate, with retention held until 35 days after the filing of the Notice of Completion.
