Hanscom Air Force Base is organizing a Small Business event on February 26, 2014, at the Courtyard Marriott in Newton, Massachusetts. The event begins at 1:30 PM EST in the Charles River Room and features a one-hour panel titled "Teaming Up to Achieve Success," with five senior leaders from AFLCMC C3I&N, Battle Management directorates, contracting leadership, and the Small Business Administration. This is followed by a 30-minute audience Q&A session. Seating is limited and restricted to three representatives per company, with no registration required as attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis. Companies do not need to participate in the broader New Horizons Symposium to attend. The panel will be recorded and made available later on FedBizOpps. Unlike the previous year, there will be no “Reverse Matchmaking” session after the panel. The event targets companies within certain NAICS codes related to electronics, telecommunications, computer programming, and research and development, but attendance is open to all companies regardless of their NAICS registration. Key NAICS codes include electronic computer manufacturing, telecommunications, custom computer programming, and security system services. The designated point of contact for the event is Gregory T. Ketcham, who can be reached via email or phone for additional information.
