Intent to Sole Source - Single Mode Pluggable Optics Part Number FX-1GSMThe U.S. Air Force’s 81st Communications Squadron, under the Department of Defense, intends to award a sole source contract to General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. for the procurement of FX-1GSM Single Mode Pluggable Optics under solicitation number FA301026Q0024. Although this is not a competitive solicitation, the government will accept and consider any capability statements or quotes submitted by 10:00 AM CDT on August 10, 2026, to evaluate whether a competitive approach is warranted, though no award decision is dependent on submissions. All proposals must be emailed to markos.mendoza@us.af.mil and kristopher.kostenko@us.af.mil, with no specific format, page limits, or packaging requirements detailed in the notice.
