Wolfe Ave., Edwards AFB, CA 93524 SUBJECT: Airborne Separation Video (ASVS) Remote Sensor (RS) Camera System REF NO.: FA9302-09-R-0007 DUE: 22 Sep 09 POC: Mary E. Uptergrove, 661-277-2094 The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price Contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, to DRS Data & Imaging Systems, Inc.,138 Bauer Drive, Oakland, NJ 07436-3105.This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 334220. NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on 25 SEP 2009 for an contract with the following contract line items: CLIN 0001: P/N 1001619-001 - Remote Sensor Camera Head, 24 Ea. CLIN 0002: P/N 1001633-004 - Remote Sensor Body, 4 Ea. CLIN 0003: P/N 1001655-001 - Ground Support Unit, 1 Ea. CLIN 0004: P/N 2018552-001 - Cockpit Control Unit, 2 Ea. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. Anticipated Award date is 07 Dec 2009. Responses shall be received no later than (NLT) 2:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, 22 Sep 2009. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received upon receipt of proof. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
