Aircraft Battery Management System (ABMS-10X) Upgrade

The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Test Center (AFTC) at Edwards AFB, awarded a firm-fixed price purchase order, contract number FA930126P0029, to Marvel Aero International for the upgrade of the Aircraft Battery Management System (ABMS) from a four-station to a six-station ABMS-10X configuration. This sole-source award was executed under statutory authority FAR 6.103-1(b) because Marvel Aero is the only responsible source capable of providing the proprietary software, patented ReFLEX charging technology, and specific hardware required for the system.
