AFRL requires an Aircraft Bus Characterization and Integrity toolset to test the data bus writing on aircraft. This equipment can pinpoint any cable breaks and analyze signaling on data bus wiring, provides a data recording/archive function, and allows information management down to individual aircraft tail numbers in the even that a fleet of aircraft are being tested.
