Full Description

The U.S. Marshals Service, Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source, to Jeppesen Sanderson Inc, 55 Inverness Drive East, Englewood, CO 80112, for navigational flight data and charts to perform pre-flight planning and airborne flight operations. This requirement is a twelve (12) month subscription renewal for the period of performance from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a request for offers. Proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to the requirement by providing written notification to the point of contact (POC) no later than 12:00 pm (noon) EST, August 29, 2011. Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the firms capabilities to perform this requirement. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
