Full Description

The Maine Air National Guard intends to award, on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, a contract to Richards Corporation, DBA TIA Electric Corporation, 22 Audrey Pl, Fairfield, NJ for aircraft microwave ovens. These ovens will be utilized on the KC-135 Refueling Aircraft. This is the only known manufacture of aircraft approved microwave ovens that have been certified for use on the KC-135 airframe. This is not a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you feel your firm possesses the ability to provide these supplies, then you must respond by demonstrating your firms technical capability to meet the requirements. If no affirmative written response is received, the supplies will be awarded without further notice.
