Aircraft Wash & Corrosion Control Service

This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for potential offerors to provide Aircraft Wash and Corrosion Control Services for 94th Maintenance Group (94 MXG) located on Dobbins Air Reserve Base (ARB), GA. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and DOES NOT serve to bind the U.S. Government in any way. Interested parties shall not be reimbursed for any costs associated with preparation of their responses. This Sources Sought serves as Market Research only, not a firm commitment on the part of the U.S. Government nor does it constitute an order. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. 94th Contracting Flight, Dobbins ARB is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to identify potential firms that possess the capabilities and experience to provide Aircraft Wash & Corrosion control services for the 94th Maintenance Group (94 MXG) located on Dobbins ARB, GA. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, tools, supervision and other items necessary to perform Aircraft wash & Corrosion control services for 94th MXG, Dobbins Air Reserve Base (DARB) assigned C-130 aircraft, Static Display Aircraft and Ground Instructional Trainer Aircraft (GITA). The Contractor shall perform an exterior wash and interior cleaning of C-130 aircraft. Contractor shall perform a complete exterior wash on the Static Display & GITA aircraft using water only. All work shall be performed at Dobbins ARB, GA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 488190, Small Business Standard Size $30M. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make the appropriate acquisition decision and determine if this may be a competitive acquisition, or if a set-aside for any small business program is appropriate (Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO), Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned (EDWO) small businesses). Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registry (CCR) (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov) Responses to this Sources Sought shall include: - Business Name - CAGE Code & DUNS Number - Physical/Mailing Address - Business Size - Point of contact - Firm's Capability Statement - Socio-Economic Status: i.e. HubZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), 8(a), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Large etc. - Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort. The Capability Statements shall be no more than 5-pages in length.
