This announcement constitutes public notice of intent to purchase Alaskan Small Shelter System This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(2). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. The proposed source, Alaska Structures, is the manufacturer and sole distrubitor of the current tents used. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332311. All responses shall be sent to the attention of SSgt Christopher Lawton by way of email at christopher.lawton.1@us.af.mil. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement.
