PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project will reconstruct Alder Street between Yew Street and Mellen Street (SR507) to include roadway reconstruction and widening, the installation of sidewalks on both sides of the roadway, roadway storm drainage, water line replacement, street lighting, undergrounding utilities, asphalt paving and striping. This project will also complete the installation of sidewalk and street lighting on the north side of Alder Street between Yew Street and Marsh Street to complete the corridor improvements all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, Standard Specifications, and City of Centralia Standards.The City of Centralia hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award.
