This contract involves the procurement of multiple NSNs related to Raytheon Patriot Missile Weapon Systems under a three-year Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Requirement arrangement. The scope includes the design, manufacturing, and supply of critical components such as transmitter assemblies, exhaust nozzles, circuit card assemblies, electronic shields, electronic components, and hydraulic pumping units. The contract is sole sourced to Raytheon Company, the original equipment manufacturer, due to proprietary rights and the need for specialized manufacturing and engineering capabilities. The acquisition emphasizes maintaining high quality standards through source approval processes overseen by the Army's System Readiness Directorate, and all offers must meet prequalification criteria. Deliveries are scheduled to be made to Fort Bliss, Texas, with the contract covering activities such as inventory management, forecasting, distribution, reliability improvements, and engineering maintenance. The solicitation is a presolicitation notice with a response deadline of 15 days from the posting date, and it is intended as a FAR 15 negotiated effort. The contract also involves restrictions on the export of technical data under U.S. export control laws, emphasizing the proprietary nature of the technical information. Interested firms are encouraged to seek source approval and submit their offers accordingly, with foreign firms required to process requests through their respective embassies.
