ALUMINUM ANGLES & EXTRUSIONS

This pre-solicitation notice announces the upcoming opportunity for a long-term Indefinite Quantity Contract to supply a variety of nonferrous bulk-metal products, specifically aluminum angles and extrusions, under the Federal Stock Class 9540. The contract will have a two-year base period with three one-year extension options and will be fixed price with an economic price adjustment clause. Delivery is required within 60 days of order placement and shall be made to DLA depots located within the continental United States. Small businesses listed on the Bulk Metals Qualified Supplier List Directory are the only eligible offerors, and contractors must maintain Electronic Data Interchange capabilities throughout the contract period as orders will be processed through a paperless ordering system. The solicitation, which is not yet released, will be posted on the Defense Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) and will invite proposals from all responsible small business sources who meet the eligibility requirements.
