This requirement is for Natural Resources Canada
This procurement is subject to the Directive on Government Contracts, Including Real Property Leases, in the Nunavut Settlement Area (the Nunavut Directive).
Work Description:
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement for the installation of a perimeter fence around the Magnetic Observatory in Baker Lake, Nunavut.
The work will include the following:
• Install a perimeter fence around the building, 100 feet per side square enclosure. There is also a 10’ double gate and a 4’ man gate to be installed.
• Install all posts required for fence and gate installation. If bedrock is encountered drilling may be required. Corner and fence posts are 3” and the remainder of the posts are 2”
• All materials used in the construction must be non-magnetic.
• All non-magnetic material will be supplied by NRCan
Delivery Date:
This Contract must be completed by September 30, 2023.
