Amendment 00004 to BAA 12-002

NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS: The Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate is hereby notifying vendors that, after further review, the suspension on the evaluation of white papers submitted in response to this announcement has been lifted. However, prospective vendors should be aware that, as a result of drastic budget reductions in FY 2012, the total estimated amount available for awards under BAA 12-002 has been significantly reduced to $287,000. Further, as a consequence of the reduced program budget, Technical Focus Areas 2 and 4 have been eliminated from the BAA. Amendment 00004 to BAA 12-002 revises the BAA to perform the following actions: (1) reduction of Technical Focus Areas from 4 to 2 with the elimination of TFA 2 and 4, and (2) make adjustments to the language of the BAA.
