This contract requires the supply of specialized hardware, including three types of burst diaphragms, a screwed insert, an ablator retaining plate, and a nozzle throat. These components must be manufactured from specific materials such as Tantalum/Tungsten, Columbium C-103 Niobium alloy, and Stainless Steel 17-4PH. All items are to be delivered FOB Destination to AEDC White Oak in Silver Spring, Maryland. Due to the nature of the components, the solicitation contains militarily critical technical data designated as Distribution C and is subject to export restrictions under the Arms Export Control Act or the Export Administration Act. Consequently, only businesses certified by the Department of Defense United States/Canada Joint Certification Office with a legitimate business purpose are eligible to access the solicitation documents and technical data packages.
