The original SSS posted 08 June 2015 under solicitation number FA8617-16-C-6208 remains applicable. a. The PoP will not exceed eighteen (18) months and will consist of one (1) six month base, one (1) six month priced option, and FAR 52.217-8 - Option to Extend Services for up to six additional months of ICS and training in support of C-208B aircraft and ATD for the Afghan Trainer Program. b. Based on historical data and market research, in the event of base closure and aircraft transition to the Afghan Air Force, the ability to maintain aircraft launch and recovery operations is paramount to the success of the Afghan Air Force.
