Amtrak Boulden Obsolete Material INDUCTANCE, DI/DT 8.5H 950A, COIL

Amtrak is soliciting bids for the sale of obsolete material consisting of 81 new, never-used inductance coils (DI/DT 8.5H 950A) used for propulsion and electric braking in HHP locomotives. The material is located at the Amtrak Boulder Distribution Center and is sold on an as-is, where-is basis. The award will be granted to the highest responsive, responsible, and qualified bidder at Amtrak's sole discretion. Bidders must submit a firm fixed price quote via email to the Asset Management Team, specifying both the per-unit value and the total quantity they intend to purchase. The successful purchaser is responsible for all labor, equipment, and transportation required to remove the materials and any resulting debris from the site. Removal must be completed within 45 to 90 calendar days following the issuance of a Notice to Proceed, which Amtrak will provide upon receipt of payment and evidence of acceptable insurance. All buyers and their subcontractors must comply with strict safety regulations, including the use of required personal protective equipment and the completion of mandatory Amtrak Contractor Training courses. Additionally, the buyer must adhere to DOT and FRA regulations regarding drug-free workplaces. Payments not made by the due date are subject to a monthly interest charge of 1.5 percent.
