This requirement is sole source to EDO Corporation Defense Systems (Amityville, NY), Cage: 82340, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for sustaining engineering support for the AN/ALQ-161A Radio Frequency Surveillance (RFS)/Electronic Countermeasures Subsystem (ECMS). This effort provides for AN/ALQ-161A deficiency analysis, details analysis to identify mission data changes that will result in performance improvements and provides for specific investigations and analysis necessary to ensure availability and effectiveness of the AN/ALQ-161A. The contract period of performance will be 6 months. The contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, EDO Corporation Defense Systems (Amityville, NY), Cage: 82340, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one source is capable of satisfying the government's requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In accordance with AFI 16.201; Foreign Participation is not permitted at the prime level.
