DLA Land at Aberdeen anticipates issuance of a request for proposal (RFP) on or around 16 November 2015, for an AN/ASN-157 Doppler Navigation Set (DNS) combined spares procurement and repair services contract. The DNS is a key sensor component used to provide highly accurate, three-dimensional velocity and navigation data on various aircraft platforms, including the AH-64D/E Longbow Apache, MH-47E Chinook and MK-60K Blackhawk Helicopters. NSN: 6605-01-323-9061; AN/ASN-157 Doppler Navigation Set (DNS) Part Number: P510A003-02. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the only approved source is BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc. (CAGE Code 0D0D0). The RFP will result in the award of an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Long Term Contract (LTC) with one 5-year base period and no option periods. The 5-year total Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for spares is 47, Unit of Issue EA. The 5-year total BEQ for repairs is 280. The BEQs for any resultant IDIQ FFP LTC are provided for planning purposes only, and do not represent a guarantee by the Government. The Government is only obligated to order the guaranteed minimum, which will be available in the forthcoming solicitation.
