ERAPSCO is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the AN/SSW-36, AN/SSQ-53, AN/SSQ-62 and AN/SSQ-101 sonobuoys and owns the associated design drawings. These sonobuoys have been developed and manufactured in accordance with Navy performance specifications and only ERAPSCO has qualified sonobuoy designs capable of meeting the Navy's requirement. Additionally, ERAPSCO is the only source that possesses the required knowledge and expertise of its particular design and manufacturing processes to successfully perform the required effort.
