Animal Confinement Facilities Plan and Ordinance Amendment (General Plan Amendment No. GPA 10-002)

The applicant Visalia DF Renewables proposes to construct digester systems consisting of two continuous stirred tank reactors, one covered lagoon digester, a hydrogen sulfide removal system, gas blowers, compressors, and dryers to capture methane/biogas generated by existing facility Milky Way Dairy; Milky Way Dairy proposes to construct processing pits, sand lanes, mechanical separators, and to convert five of the eight existing settling basins into a covered digester lagoon that will be part of a covered digester system for Visalia DF Renewables.
