Annual 15KV CIRCUIT BREAKER MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT

The City of Lakeland has issued solicitation 2026-ITB-126 for a multi-year agreement to purchase magnetically actuated 15kV circuit breakers. The contract is structured as a one-year initial term with options for four additional one-year renewals, not to exceed five years in total. The scope covers the procurement of three-phase, 60 Hz outdoor vacuum circuit breakers in dead tank construction, specifically including 1200A and 2000A models with either 125VDC or 48VDC configurations. Equipment must be designed and tested according to ASME standards and delivered FOB to the City of Lakeland. Bidders must be responsive and responsible, providing a signed IRS W-9, Sunbiz registration, certificate of insurance, and certifications regarding non-collusion, public entity crimes, and E-Verify compliance. A human trafficking affidavit and a notarized indemnification agreement are also required. The City maintains strict quality and safety standards, including the right to conduct audits of contractor shops and the requirement for specific rust-preventative coatings on machined surfaces. Payment is set at 100 percent within 30 days of delivery, provided all terms are fulfilled and the equipment is accepted by the Central Stores Warehouse.
