Annual Medium Voltage And Low Voltage Equipment Maintenance And Testing Services

The Orange County Water District is soliciting proposals for a four-year General Services Agreement to provide annual preventative maintenance, inspection, and testing of medium and low-voltage electrical equipment. The scope of work includes servicing switchgear, switchboard assemblies, dry-type transformers, and vacuum insulated or molded case circuit breakers at the facility located in Fountain Valley, California. All services must be performed in accordance with the latest ANSI/NETA standards, and the selected contractor is required to provide comprehensive testing reports and a quality control plan to identify and correct equipment deficiencies. Qualified bidders must hold a California Class C-10 Electrical Contractor license and employ a licensed Professional Engineer. Additional requirements include NETA certifications, a valid California business license, and adherence to all federal, state, and district environmental health and safety policies. Proposals are due by October 7, 2026, and will be evaluated based on five equally weighted criteria. The contract allows the District to terminate the agreement with or without cause and stipulates that all resulting reports and materials remain the property of the District.
