Full Description

It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine to procure Annual Site License of Tilelow on a sole source basis from Innovative Research, Inc., 3025 Harbor Lane N, Suite 300, Plymouth, MN 55447, under authority of FAR 6.302. This software package has the capability to calculate under-floor and above floor airflow and pressure distribution, air rates through perforated tiles and cutouts, and cooling capacities associated with these airflow rates. These measurements are then used to formulate air movement pattern that will be used to determine where to place high wattage computer cabinets within the computer room to prevent - Hot Spots that damage computer equipment. In addition, TileFlow License Technical Support shall include the following: *TileFlow product functionality and modeling support *Engineering consulting in fluid dynamics as applied to TileFlow analysis *E-mail, fax, telephone, and mail support during normal business hours *TileFlow software updates for software revisions and technical problems *New functional releases of the software at no charge *Training (over phone/on-line) on the use of TileFlow NLM has determined that based upon an analysis of the current market place, Innovative Research, Inc. is the sole proprietor of this license. The proposed acquisition will be procured under FAR Part 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance will be for one year from the date of award.
