Full Description

The US Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, intends to award a sole source contract to WOLTERS KLUWER of 2700 LAKE COOK ROAD, RIVERWOODS, IL 60015, to support the Office of Unemployment Insurance (OUI) program through weekly database issues of Unemployment Insurance Reports with Social Security. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is 41 USC 253(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. The UI program is defined in the Social Security Act of 1935 as a federal-state partnership. In this federal-state system, USDOL provides technical assistance and administrative grant funding to the states as well as monitors state operations to help ensure timely and proper payment of UI benefits and collection of UI taxes. This subscription provides weekly issues of Unemployment Insurance Reports with Social Security and federal-state unemployment insurance taxes, coverage's and benefits. Pertinent federal and state laws are reported promptly and reflected in place in the explanatory guides, as are regulations, judicial and administrative decisions, rulings and releases. Explanatory guides include examples showing how rules apply and offer practical information regarding the tax management, coverage and benefits aspects of the social security and unemployment insurance systems. This action will result in a Firm Fixed type Purchase Order with a twelve (12) month period of performance. This notice of intent to award a Sole Source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Phone calls Will Not be accepted. The anticipated award date is February 10, 2017.
