THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A SOLICIATATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), Office of Purchasing and Contracts (OPC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with McKesson Technologies, 5995 Windward Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30005, under the authority of 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) 253(c)(1) as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1: Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Clinical Center (CC) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has a requirement to maintain and upgrade its ANSOS software which is a registered trademark of PST Products, LLC d/b/a McKesson Corporation. The NIH will issue this requirement with one (1) 12 month base period and four (4) 12 month option periods. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability in writing to Stacey Polk, spolk@cc.nih.gov within 7 calendar days of issuance of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
