NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE FIRM FIXED-PRICE CONTRACT to Siemens Industry, Inc. for a antenna install and upgrade for the Siemens DDC System. This service award will be a sole source platform. Siemens Industry, Inc. is the only vendor authorized for this service and authorized installer for the Siemens Apogee panels and the server located in the Bassett Hospital. Due to its proprietary connections and functions with the Siemens Apogee panels, Siemens Industry, Inc. is the sole source for all Siemens products, after sales service, and warranty on all Siemens products installed in their territory. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals, nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based on responses to this notice and is within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A solicitation will not be issued.
