Full Description

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Sill, Oklahoma intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole source contract for 30 (EA) Rajant Antennas, Model KMA-5550-6-NM. The government will utilize the Rajant Antennas with Rajant Breadcrumb LX5 Radios to establish secure communications between radar and C2 devices in order to establish line of sight connectivity during the 2017 Research and development training and further enable the secure network to extend exercise capabilities to the East, West and Quanah ranges on Fort Sill, Ok. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(i) under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS OR A SOLICITATION FOR OFFERS and is posted for seven (7) calendar days. No solicitation package will be available. However, any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government and must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. If no affirmative written response is received by 8 March 2017 4:00 pm CST, the Government will proceed with the sole source. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract is based on this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
