Application/Software Architect (Powerbuilder) - Level 3

Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is seeking professional services for two Level 3 Senior Application/Software Architects under the Task-based Informatics Professional Services Supply Arrangement. The primary objective is to provide expertise in PowerBuilder Integrated Environment version 10.0 or higher to support the Impact application. Key responsibilities include developing technical architectures and frameworks, creating a transformation roadmap to migrate the system to a modern framework, and performing coding, testing, and implementation of software changes. The selected resources will also coordinate unit, system, and stress testing and ensure seamless integration with other existing platforms. This solicitation is limited to pre-qualified TBIPS Supply Arrangement holders and requires resources to hold Secret security clearance. The work is to be performed in Ottawa within the National Capital Region. The proposed contract term is one year with up to four one-year options, with an estimated value ranging from the CKFTA threshold up to 3.75 million dollars. For evaluation purposes, the Crown accepts corporate references and company experience provided that PowerBuilder expertise is clearly articulated, and contract reference values of 1.5 million dollars or greater are considered acceptable.
