This contract is for the procurement of 14 packages of disposable sterile applicators, consisting of 6-inch wood rods with absorbent tips. Each package contains 100 packets of two applicators each. The items are FDA regulated and must be sourced from approved vendors such as Redi Products, Inc. or Medline Industries, Inc. The contract strictly prohibits the intentional addition of mercury or mercury-containing compounds to the supplies. Delivery is required within 20 days of order, with the destination being the Navy Expeditionary Central Facility in Williamsburg, Virginia. Packaging must adhere to commercial standards, ASTM D3951, and DLA packaging requirements, ensuring each unit is sealed to prevent damage. Marking and labeling must comply with Medical Marking Standard No. 1 and MIL-STD-129. All shipments must be sent via the fastest traceable means, specifically avoiding parcel post.
