The County of Riverside is exercising an option to extend the existing lease agreement for 14,482 square feet of office space located at 30045 Technology Drive in Murrieta, California, on behalf of the District Attorney’s office. The extension, effective January 1, 2027, and concluding on December 31, 2028, permits continued use of the current facility without any physical expansion, increased operational intensity, or new construction. The project qualifies for a categorical exemption under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15301 and 15061(b)(3), as it involves no significant environmental impacts and merely sustains pre-existing land use. Administrative approval has been completed with internal documentation, including a Notice of Exemption and an Authorization to Bill by Journal Voucher, and the lease extension is being processed under the project number FM042464000700. Financial terms, including rent or total cost, are not disclosed in the available records, and no formal pricing structure, line items, or contract value estimates are provided. The agreement is an administrative lease continuation rather than a competitive procurement, so no federal acquisition regulations, contract clauses, or procurement-specific provisions such as FAR clauses, evaluation factors, representations, or delivery requirements apply. The Riverside County Facilities Management office, located at 3450 14th Street in Riverside, oversees the agreement, with Mike Sullivan serving as the primary point of contact responsible for execution and environmental compliance. Payment processing is handled internally via journal voucher using the accounting string 524830-47220-7200400000-FM042464000700, and no electronic invoicing or external billing systems are utilized.
