Full Description

The proposed Project provides on-call and routine grease interceptor maintenance and repair services for eight grease interceptor systems in the John Wayne Airport terminal building. The grease interceptors capture fats, oils, and grease that are deposited in the terminal’s wastewater system by airport concessionaires. Grease interceptor maintenance includes routine cleaning and waste pumping, hydro-jetting (clearing clogs and debris using high-pressure water), and performing corrective repairs to the grease interceptor unit, as required. The grease interceptor maintenance is required to prevent environmental emergencies that could result from a blockage in the main sewer system.
