Full Description

NASA/GSFC has a requirement for (Quantity of 18) Aqua Oxygen Optode Sensors. NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from AANDERAA. Minimum requirements include: - Geoview real-time display program including real time data collector setup for one station - Cable connection with opted model 4531 terminated with 5441 bushing with subjoin MCBH8M wet mate bulkhead connector - Two (2) Meter length cable with following connectors: subconn MCIL8F to PC DB9 connector for optode model 4531 - Optode oxygen sensors must have the following minimum specifications for the ENTIRE range of oxygen concentrations in water: o Optode oxygen sensor precision must be close to 2 micrograms per liter and no more than 8 micrograms per liter o sensor must not consume oxygen o sensor should not require stirring o Each individual sensor must have its own temperature compensation sensor o Sensors must also be able to connect to data-logging software and connect to hyper-terminal programs individually for potential trouble-shooting. Deliverables and Delivery Schedule To our knowledge, the Aanderaa optodes sensors are the only sensors available with a precision of 6.4 ug L-1. Delivery schedule shall be no later than 45 days after award. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing mail to: Monique.m.murrell@nasa.gov no later than 11:59 p.m. (EST) time on August 31, 2016. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
