Architectural Services - DeLand High - Replace Roof Campus Wide - Project No. 2748315

This is a Summary of the request for Architectural Services for the Project herein; reference the RFQ and any/all other documents and information pertaining to the Project as contained in this solicitation.
Pursuant to Florida Statute 255.103 and 287.055, Consultants` Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA) and State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF), the School Board of Volusia County Florida hereby publicly announces the need to procure Architectural services for DeLand High, Replace Roof Campus Wide, Project No. 2748315, located at 800 North Hill Avenue, DeLand, Florida 32724. The estimated construction cost is $11,500,000.
The specified services shall include all types and manner of professional services related to architectural services including, but not limited to, complete architectural design services, school campus planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, irrigation and plumbing engineering, construction administration, estimating and interior design.
The anticipated scope of the project may consist of reroofing Buildings 1, 2, 4-9, 11-15, 17-20, 22 and 24. The work consists of replacement of approximately 82,000 sq. ft of modified bitumen roofing; approximately 226, 000 sq. ft. of standing seam metal roofing and gutters; approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of stucco repairs and painting and all associated lightning protection.
Firm shall be responsible for all services as set forth in the architectural services contract document; draft document attached to this RFQ. The School Board reserves the right to negotiate contract terms with selected Firm prior to execution, at its discretion.
The size, scope, and complexity of the Project under this contract will be determined based upon specific requirements of the Project as determined by School Board representatives and/or designated architect/engineers that are involved with the Project.
A current Certificate of Qualification is required to meet the minimum qualifications necessary to be considered for Architectural services pursuant to the RFQ.
