Army G-1 AECW Warehouse Supply Cages

This is a Sources Sought Notice and Request for Information (RFI) issued under FAR 52.215-3 by the U.S. Army’s G-1 Deputy Chief of Staff office on behalf of the Army Expeditionary Civilian Workforce Directorate, with the intent to conduct market research and plan for a future procurement of wire mesh warehouse supply cages. The effort targets Building 448 at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, where the Government seeks industry input on the capability to supply, deliver, assemble, and install custom caging systems including three distinct cage configurations—NAVY CAGE, DIA CAGE, and AECW EXCESS CAGE—each with precise dimensional requirements extending across the warehouse floor. The work includes providing C-channel stiffeners for ceiling support, floor anchors for standard concrete, and full on-site installation with removal and disposal of all packaging materials such as pallets, strapping, and cardboard. All installations must be completed within three months of any future award, with work conducted during standard business hours Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, and requiring contractor-provided tools and equipment though a Government forklift may be available for assistance. No formal solicitation exists at this time, and submission of a response does not obligate the Government to award a contract or assume any costs incurred. Interested parties must submit a Capability Statement not exceeding five pages that includes company details, DUNS and CAGE codes, business size classification, NAICS 337215 and PSC codes, and socioeconomic status information relevant to small business, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, small-disadvantaged, or women-owned categories, as the Government is evaluating potential set-asides. Technical submissions must confirm product compliance with Unified Facilities Guide Specifications, include a product brochure highlighting relevant features, provide past performance examples from the last five years with associated costs, and indicate whether offerings are available on existing Government-wide acquisition vehicles such as SEWP or GSA. All information must be submitted by June 17, 2026, with no site visits or direct phone calls permitted.
