Army Network Cross Functional Team Technical Industry Forum

Amendment 0003 ***UPDATE***10-17-18 In August 2018, the Network CFT conducted an industry Technology Exchange Meeting in Raleigh, NC to conduct market research on distributed computing (mission command) solutions and the potential to deliver Cloud services to tactical formations. Following the Technology Exchange Meetings, the Army issued a Request for White Papers on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). The Army received 78 white papers that are currently being reviewed. Assessments are anticipated to be completed by the end of October, and industry can expect to receive a response by late November. Vendors with promising capability will receive an invitation for a no cost demo, to be held in the December - January timeframe. At these demonstrations, vendors will show their capability focused on technical maturity, operational relevance and technical ability to integrate into the Army's network design. They will be expected to answer technical questions from a panel of government technical, program and operational subject matter experts. The government assessment leads will present outcomes of the demonstrations to Network-CFT and PEO C3T leadership. As part of these outcomes, the Army will develop an experimentation/assessment plan as well as identification of possible resourcing for promising capabilities. If selected, vendors will be notified of next progressive steps.
