The AS AJ Modem is a component of the PAAWNS program and provides protected communication. Production, enhancement, and sustainment of the AS AJ Modem includes design, testing, production, and fielding of future AS AJ Modem models and sustainment of current and previous models through program management, equipment repairs, software sustainment, and information assurance support. The planned Period of Performance is 08 July 2024 to 07 July 2034, inclusive of a base period of 5 years, and 5, 12-month evaluated option periods. This pre-solicitation synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis, which the Government shall consider.
