RANDY DELATTELIVINGSTON PARISH PRESIDENT SEALED BID – SPECIFICATIONS SEALED BIDS will be received in legible print by: Livingston Parish Government, Purchasing Office, located on the 2nd floor of the Livingston Parish Health Unit, 29261 South Frost Road, Livingston, Louisiana 70754 (mailing address PO Box 427, Livingston, LA 70754) by Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (CST).  The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the 2nd floor conference room for the following: ASPHALT COATED PIPE & ARCHED PIPE ASPHALT COATED PIPE & ARCHED PIPE - Various pipe sizes and quantities per order to be delivered to the Livingston Parish Public Works Dept, located at 28325 Charlie Watts Rd, Livingston, LA 70754. Bidders must submit prices for all listed items, and partial bids will not be accepted. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, based on the lowest total cost for all required items, upon approval by the Livingston Parish Council. The award will be effective from the date of Council approval for a twelve (12) month period.*Freight charges, if applicable, should be included in the total cost of unit price when bidding.  Bids may be rejected if not quoted FOB delivered or freight charges are not indicated on bid forms. SPECS: AS PER LOUISIANA DOTD 2016 STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR ROADS & BRIDGES, SECTION 1007. REQUIREMENTS:Minimum order will NOT be required for delivery.  Delivery of material must be made within fifteen (30) working days from the date of the purchase order.  If the delivery cannot be made within fifteen (30) working days, the original purchase order issued will be canceled, and a new purchase order will be issued to the next lowest bidder. Unless submitting bid via online, bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside, the name of the Bidder, Bidder’s address, and the name of the material/project for which the bid is submitted.  The bids will be publicly open and read aloud at the above stated date and time. Bidding Documents & Electronic Bids are also accepted online at Central Bidding.  For questions related to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at +1 (555) 000-0000.  All addenda, corrections, and responses to this public notice shall be posted to https://www.centralauctionhouse.com.  The Parish shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit a Bid due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet. The lowest responsive bidder that is awarded the bid must have a minimum of $1,000,000 of Commercial General Liability Insurance, Workmen’s Compensation Insurance, & a minimum of $350,000 of Automobile Liability.  A copy of the insurance must be sent to Livingston Parish Government before the vendor can deliver the material. The Parish of Livingston reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. Livingston Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
